In Humanities this term, we have been looking at the Romans in Britain, more specifically, at Boudicca's rebellion.
There are four tasks for you to work through.
You can access the Twinkl Blog Post below, which will provide you with activities, PowerPoint's and video links.
Week 1- Write a speech from Boudicca to her people to try and convince them to follow her into battle. Make sure you include information about why Boudicca was determined to keep the Roman’s out of Britain, her vision for the country and how she planned to do it.
Week 2- Write a response to Boudicca in the role of one of the farmers. What were they thinking or feeling at the time? What were their worries? Will you choose to join her? And why?
Week 3- Complete the newspaper article activity on the aftermath of Boudicca’s failed rebellion.
Week 4- Create war attire! Design your own war attire for your own Celtic warrior. Make sure to include your own runes, just like the Celts!
