A message from Mr Ridley
Unfortunately the school will remain closed until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak. Thank you for your patience while we completed the important task of establishing childcare support for the children of key workers critical to saving lives in the national fight against the coronavirus. We appreciate that the school website contains a lot of information that may not be most useful at this time. So we have set up this additional dedicated Home learning site during the school closure. At the top of this website, you will find seperate tabs for all year groups. If you click on the Year group, you will find a welcome page. Underneath each year group tab, you can find an English, Reading, Maths, Science and Humanities tabs. Under each tab, you can find different activities which children can do at home. Completed tasks do not need to be sent to teachers. We recommend that you follow the work in order of the weeks, which have been numbered for you. Teachers will be uploading additional tasks during the school closure. We have attached a communication tab for each year group for general non-confidential questions to teachers regarding the home learning tasks. Teachers will aim to answer these once a week via the blog. We hope that this helps you and guides you as to what you can be doing at home. Any confidential questions or concerns can still be addressed to me at [email protected] Many thanks and stay safe, Miles Ridley, Head |
